Armodafinil tablets are indicated for improving wakefulness among adult patients suffering from narcolepsy, OSA with persistent excessive daytime sleepiness regardless of adequate primary therapy, and SWSD. However, before prescribing these medicines, I make sure that excessive daytime sleepiness occurs due to a diagnosed sleep disorder and not other conditions such as other diseases, neurological problems, mental illnesses, and lifestyle aspects.

To decide on the need for prescription, my examination usually involves an analysis of the patient's sleep pattern, current drug therapy, cardiovascular system state, occupation, and medical history in general. In this way, I assess the appropriateness of using the indicated medication while revealing the existence of other problems requiring special attention.

I believe that, in all cases, Armodafinil tablets must be prescribed as a component of complex treatment involving sleep hygiene practices, primary sleep disorder management, and regular follow-ups. Such measures allow me to observe patient's progress in maintaining wakefulness during the day, ability to concentrate, work efficiency, and other functions while checking whether the drug helps the patient.
