I've got a 2019 Mustang GT with the 10 speed auto, and lately it's been doing this weird hard shift from 3rd to 4th when I'm driving gently around town, but it's fine under hard acceleration which makes me think it's a software or valve body issue rather than mechanical damage. The dealer in Dubai quoted me over 2k AED just to update the transmission software and do a "adaptive learning reset", which seems crazy for basically plugging in a computer. I've been looking for a proper Mustang Gearbox Workshop Sharjah where they actually understand these 10R80 boxes and have the right tools to diagnose and reprogram them without charging an arm and a leg. Has anyone here taken their S550 to a Sharjah shop for transmission work and been happy with the result? I'm hoping it's just a flush and a software relearn, but I don't want to trust some random place that'll make it worse. Any honest recommendations would be great before I lose my mind.
